References should lead to identifiable works, accurate editions, and passages read in context.
Church teaching
A starting collection from the Coptic Orthodox Metropolis of the Southern United States. These are Coptic sources; Ethiopian and other Oriental Orthodox sources will be identified separately as they are added.
Early Christian writings
Lightfoot translation hosted by CCEL. Individual studies will identify the chapter, textual recension, and context used.
Protestant sources
Each comparison will identify its denomination and use that tradition’s own confessions or official teaching. Source entries will be added with the corresponding articles.
How citations work
Article references identify the author or organization, work, relevant section, edition or translation when available, and a link. Exact quotations are distinguished from summaries and interpretation.
