This project presents the Oriental Orthodox faith for readers who want to examine Scripture, church teaching, and early Christian history.

An Ethiopian Orthodox perspective

The project gives particular attention to Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity. Shared Oriental Orthodox teaching and traditions specific to individual churches will be labeled separately.

Fair comparisons

Protestant traditions differ. Articles will name the tradition being discussed, explain common ground, and address its strongest relevant objections.

Context before conclusions

Biblical passages are considered in context. Early Christian texts are identified by work and section. An individual writer’s statement is not automatically treated as universal church doctrine.

A transparent publication process

Articles will identify their author and review status. The library is being developed gradually; forthcoming topics are not completed teaching articles.
